General Information
It takes place on the second weekend of September in Beaver, Pennsylvania. In addition to highlighting some of the region’s best local authors, we also celebrate the other arts—music, dance, drawing, painting, photography, and more!

The Main Event on Saturday will feature our Authors’ Tent (usually over 50 authors!), the popular Children’s Tent with plenty of activities for the little ones, author talks, music on the street, and of course, a variety of food and retail vendors.

Superhero 5K + Kids Fun Run @ Irvine Park

PUSH Beaver County’s Path to Wellness presents our inaugural Superhero 5K + Kids Fun Run starting at Irvine Park and following 2nd Ave to River Road in Beaver. Awards for each age group following the race.

Are you too chicken to jump into the Beaver River for the Polar Plunge but still want to help make a difference?

Now there is a way that you can get involved, raise awareness, and help raise funds for the Special Olympics without “Freezin’ for a Reason.” Join PUSH Beaver County and Thursday’s Restaurant as they co-sponsor their 4th Annual Pre-Polar Plunge Buffet Breakfast. All proceeds from this event will go towards benefitting the local and state Special Olympics charities. This breakfast will have everything that you need from “celebrity” chefs and servers to fantastic food, libations, and music. Come one, come all!

Mardi Gras refers to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after the Epiphany or Kings day and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is French for “Fat Tuesday,” reflecting the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season.
